ZaidiMusic

A personal music library for a collection already owned.

ZaidiMusic starts with music I own or have collected over time. The aim is a lightweight personal library with an interface suited to that collection.

The current implementation

The project has a web interface for connecting to a Navidrome or compatible OpenSubsonic server. The source includes album browsing, search, a streaming player, a persistent queue, and local favourites.

There is also a local catalogue and explicit per-track downloads for offline listening. Saved audio belongs to the browser and device where it was downloaded.

What the hosted interface needs

The hosted web interface is only one part of the system. Playback requires a configured personal music server that the device can reach. Opening the website does not provide a music catalogue or access to my collection.

The implementation remains a prototype. It does not establish native mobile applications, sample-perfect gapless playback, or a managed streaming service.

The wider interest

This is a small example of building a personal digital experience around material that already exists. It sits comfortably alongside the Cabinet, where the annotations about particular music will belong when I add them.
