Omosh / The person behind the place

About.

Vincent Omondi, also known as Omosh. A Kenyan entrepreneur and builder working across media, events, and technology.

A little context

I’m Vincent Omondi. I also go by Omosh. I’m a Kenyan entrepreneur and builder working across media, events, AI, software, commerce, and culture.

I was a founding member of Ghafla and co-founded Mpasho.co.ke. Today I lead Afrotape Entertainment, the company behind AfroCoast and other event concepts. That background in media and creative work is part of what I bring to building with technology.

Technology interests me because of what it allows people to do. I’m not a computer scientist by training. My questions tend to begin with how something works, how it could work better, and what becomes possible when people build.

That takes me between AI agents and business operations, music and the internet, trade and infrastructure, places and physical experience. The subjects vary; the curiosity about systems and human capability is the thread between them.

I was born and raised in Kibera, and I operate from Kenya. Africa’s technological and economic capacity matters to me, with an outlook that also extends internationally.

This site is a record in progress. It makes room for projects that are taking shape, questions without settled answers, and things I may want to revisit or change my mind about.

Afrotape Entertainment connects media and culture to events. ZaidiCommerce explores agents and everyday trade. ZaidiMusic is a smaller, personal experiment. They do not need to be the same kind of work to belong here.
