Afrotape Entertainment is the company behind AfroCoast and other event concepts. I am its CEO. The work sits across entertainment, events, and creative production.
An event has a different set of constraints from a website. The venue, programme, production, and audience all have to meet in the same physical place. Afrotape is where my work in media and culture extends into those shared experiences.
AfroCoast
The first AfroCoast edition took place at Wild Waters in Mombasa on 22 August 2026. AfroCoast Beach Edition is planned for 19 December 2026 at The New Big Tree, Bamburi Beach, Mombasa.
The event brings together music, culture, destination experience, and production. The AfroCoast project note keeps the two editions separate, including the distinction between what has happened and what is still planned.
What this entry covers
